Arthur Laffer is a distinguished economist who served as a member of President Ronald Reagan’s Economic Policy Advisory Board. He popularized the “Laffer Curve,” an illustration of the concept that there is a tax rate between 0% and 100% that results in maximum tax revenue for governments. He is currently the policy co-chairman of the Free Enterprise Fund and serves on the Board of Scholars for the American Legislative Exchange Council; additionally, he was an economic advisor for President Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign. Laffer holds a B.A. in Economics from Yale, as well as an MBA and a PhD in Economics from Stanford.
